They are still out there . They are still doing the same things . They just have invested more into legal enterprises and know how to keep a low profile . Publicity is bad for business .

They are just as bad as they ever were .

Sure is look at New York city John Gotti Jr, running the City likes his Dad and Getting away with Murder many times like his Dad, unless he goes to Prison and dies like his dad did, then the Mafia will stay active.

You've missed one major group of crooks out of that list, they are more dangerous, violent, wicked and vile bunch of animals than the Gangs you have named. They're called New Labour. They are more dangerous and are the biggest crooks around.

Sure, only NOW; MOST of their income is from legitimate business, (law firms, banks, realestate, etc.)



THESE things are LEGAL methods of stealing, just like the IRS, etc.

Unfortunately they are still in business. Gambling, sex, drugs and anything else they can get their grubby hands on.
