But it will become the next superpower, given that their economy continue to grow.
China is already the world's factory, it is already world's largest market for cars, computers and cell phones and the country that has the most usage of internet and 3G network. Since the 2008 crisis and the decline of western capitalism, Chinese economic growth has represented 50% of the total growth in the world. So any company that wants to make serious money, has gone to China. As the current trend grows, China will, in a near future, become the single most important economy in the world. With that importance, comes influence. The whole world would be looking at China for Chinese decision would affect the world's economy, Chinese deep pockets would allow for great military spending. The world will be interested in Chinese culture, Chinese language, etc. That translates into a superpower.
For example, the world has not proceeded with the implementation of electric cars because the world's car makers can't reach an agreement on whether the electric cars should be chargeable at home or have interchangeable batteries that can be recharged at a station. The reason they can't reach an agreement is because they're all waiting for the Chinese government to decide. China is already the biggest and fastest-growing car market in the world and the biggest battery producer, so whatever standard China decides, will be the new world standard.
Your prediction about China having 7/10th of their population retired or too young to work is wrong.
Because it's based on a false assumption that China will never abandon its One-Child Policy. While in reality, Chinese birth control has always been changing in accordance to how they see fit. The current policy is if both the husband and wife were single child, they can have 2 kids. Such policy adjustment ensures that China will always have control of the kind of population structure it wants in a predictable future.
If you look back into history, China was the richest country in the world for 18 of the past 20 centuries. So their likelihood of becoming a superpower again is strong.

Saudi Arabia is not a "super "power" - they're just super rich. You are right about the aging population and we face the same challenges in the west, although probably at a slightly slower rate.
And the answer is: work till you drop i.e. the view we have of a comfortable and active retirement will become much harder for many people to achieve, we will all have to work longer to support ourselves.

If you've been watching the news China is set to overtake the US financially in just a few years time
Their currency is pretty much looking set to replace the US $ as the major world currency and if you've been paying enough attention you'll have seen that countries are already starting to switch over to using the Chinese Yuan
As the US loses its wealth they won't be able to afford to maintain all this military might whereas China will be able to expand
They're already causing military friction with their neighbours over territorial rights so imagine what will happen when they have even more money to spend on their military budget

They current debt is 38.5% of their GDP while the US is 75% of GDP. Their economy is growing by 9% a year while the US economy is growing by 1.7% a year.
At the moment their overall income from GDP is $7 Trillion and the US takes in $15 Trillion.
So if these trends continue It wont be long until they are the ONLY superpower.

You sure are on point.
I would only add that they will have to compete without the massive low cost benefit they have had ,when things equal out with world competition.

So far, China can only copy American design and thus it has to keep American living.
Luke 13
2 And Jesus answered, and said unto them, Suppose ye, that these Galileans were greater sinners than all the other Galileans, because they have suffered such things?
3 I tell you, nay, but except ye amend your lives, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or think you that those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, were sinners above all men that dwell in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, nay, but except ye amend your lives, ye shall all likewise perish.
(Hence, China can only perish as America.)
