Question:
Are you worried about the Ebola outbreak?

I live here in the West and every other article that's not concerning the news in Africa is about Ebola's threat to the Western Hemisphere. I've studied a little on Ebola way before this epidemic so I understand how devastating a virus this is.

And I'm very, very worried that whatever WHO or whichever agency is in control will let this virus slip through some crack and...boom. I'm not feeling too reassured that these high-ranking doctors are becoming infected with Ebola, either.

Yes I am. I live in the West too but my concern is for those who are in the firing line so to speak. I don't worry about myself when the suffering has already hit people less fortunate than me and is destroying their lives.

Yes - I remain convinced that the human race may well die out c/o a virus, rather than war. The world is a small place these days and what's in Africa will be here eventually (air travel), and probably sooner rather than later.

For the people of Africa, yes. For the West, not so much. I remember swine flu, bird flu, and even Aids as being insurmountable. Hasn't proven true due to the isolation and treatment of the victims in the West, as well as other aggressive methods. Oh, and mad cow disease was going to kill us all, too. Didn't happen.

Yes, most people are to ignorant to realize there is no front line or third world when it comes to this disease. There is no cure for this disease and it has a 70% fatality rate. If it ever gets into a major western city the populace will think they are safe and they will be too ignorant to follow health officials direction. This will be disastrous.

Yes. In a world presently riven by religious wars and terrorism and the big powers playing stupid mind games, containment of such a plague virus is probably impossible.

Yes. It is one of the most embarrassing undignified way to die. Since there is no vaccine yet they should continue quarantine units for victims and also open isolation units for the rest of families for each victim to be monitored and tested before sending them back home.

Constantly inducing fear in the masses is part of the New World Order destabilization program - as is developing new bio-weapons, partly to whip up public fear with.

I would be less concerned if the US took proper precautions.
