...Unison has,for years,been concentrating on PC causes to the Detriment of other,more universal Employment Issues.

They have long been a Union for Ethnic Minorities,rather than " For " their total Membership.

The 3 Wise Monkeys,may well have been Brass Monkeys also,as they appeared to be lacking an important masculine Detail.

I think to avoid any future offense all monkeys should be eradicated. All literature featuring monkeys should be destroyed.



While we are at it....pigs should be similarly removed. And literature featuring pigs destroyed. I heard that children's stories such as the three little pigs was offensive and have seen four year olds holding their noses and wafting away an imaginary smell when a pig was referred to.....clearly something they had learned before starting school.....!



Yet animal farm where some pigs are more equal than others should just be rewritten.....pigs got the starring role for being intelligent ...in the new version they should be replaced by something less intelligent but not 'offensive' to those who look for offense everywhere outside of their limited experience.....how about a camel or goat or sloath? Nothing wrong with the message....some are more equal than others ....however they get the unfair advantage is okay innit?

Doesn't surprise me that the Unison leadership would spend more of their time and their members' money attacking rank and file trade unionists in their own union than actually fighting in their members interests.



One high ranking full-time official of one of the unions that amalgamated to form Unison was reputed to have bought a lordship by handing over lists of "subversives" in his union to the security services - allegedly. These were the very people who recruited members and created the grass roots organisations that gave the full time officials their inflated salaries and perks in the first place.



Like all bureaucrats these union officials have become humourless time servers who serve their and and their friends' priorities before the members and rank and file activists who give of their money, time and commitment to serve the ideals of trade unionism. Until we get rid of these parasites and recreate a genuine democratic movement controlled by the workers the likes of Milliband, Blair and Brown, in collusion with elements of the trade union leadership, will continue to fleece the working class to finance their Thatcherite crusades to enrich themselves at our expense.

I think it is very stupid and a complete waste of money. I actually think that society in general has become too obsessed about offending people. Being offended is not a mortal wound, I think people take themselves too seriously, and the bureaucrats who are in charge of these thought policing measures are a waste of job position too.
