A great idea and I hope it catches on so I will use my usual very realistic artificial tree this and see how the idea develops,Ahmed we all know Muslims do not celebrate the birth of the Son of God,so there is no need to state the obvious.

no - we bought two artificial Christmas trees about 15 years ago. Use them every year. One in the front room overlooking the street to give a bit of Christmas cheer to everyone and the other one is in the dining room.

Not long now.

It sounds like a fab eco-friendly idea.

Pity I'm such a scrooge & hate the whole tree thing, it's just so pagan.

But everyone feel free to plant a tree, cut down a tree, decorate tree, water it, panic the dog/cat/pig might christen it, moan about the needles & forget to water it...........

Just call me scrooge.

No.

I have a veritable forest of artificial trees that I get out each year.

And I also buy a real tree to keep the sons happy....so it does seem to be avoid idea.

What a brilliant idea! Saves having to drag the damn thing through the house when it is dead and dropping needles all over the place.

I don't think the pikeys at the side of the road flogging stolen trees will be too enamoured over this idea though.

I will get out my little table top plastic tree and then dance around it, holding paws with my dog and cats, and sing Christmas carols while the chestnuts roast over an open fire.

No, I will be basking on a beach in India, but it sounds like a good idea for those who do the whole christmas thing.
