Is anybody else really "hoping" that the McCanns are guilty of killing Maddie?

Do you think that people are really hoping that the McCanns are guilty of killing Maddie, rather than imagining the unimaginable??

I sat on the fence for a long time (still do in a way) I don't know anymore than anyone on here knows..
But I really do hope that it was Kate and Gerry that killed her, because at least then she has been spared things I donot wish to think of...
Does anybody else feel the same or am I on my own??

I am so pleased that you have explained yourself. I am hoping that she is found safe and well. I can agree with you that if she is found dead, as awful as that might be, all things considered, I suppose that is slightly better than some sick nasty people hurting her first.

I believe that you hope that she is not being abused, hurt, frightened by some evil people, and that being accidently killed by mum or dad is a little better. I shake your hand for explaining yourself.

I really don't want to think like this and i hope she is found safe and well.......as could be expected in the circumstances. I just hope that someone is caring for her and that she is returned.....I am not pointing the finger at anyone as the truth will eventually come out but I just feel for Maddie if she is still alive as she must be so confused......There was an advert on tele last night for all the children that go missing in China, why is there not more coverage on this issue God it is just awful as this really says a lot about our race...predators or what......

I understand what you are saying,I really don't think that if Madeleine has been abducted it will be a case of her stolen to order and handed to a childless couple, as I am sure a childless couple would rather steal a baby, and not a child who could talk.



So the other alternatives are, she wandered off looking for her parents, and maybe drowned or was taken away by a wild animal, or she was taken by a paedo, or that she was accidentally killed by her parents, or in fact fell down the steps because she had been sedated, hit her head and died.



Out of all of those possibilies, I would prefer it if she had have been sedated, and just passed away in her sleep, at least she wouldn't have suffered.

I just hope more than anything that she could be found. I do have my suspicions about Kate and Gerry and if it did turn out to be them then it wouldn't surprise me, but I find it hard to believe or accept that anyone could hurt their own child. However, I do agree with you. If it were her parents, then at least we would know for sure that she wouldn't be / wouldn't have suffered at the hands of a rapist or paedophile etc. It doesn't bear thinking about what she could have been put through if she had been taken! I just hope that the guilty party / parties is found soon and that there is undoubtable proof as I would hate an innocent person to be charged and a sicko to be still out on the streets.

This issue is one hot potato with so many permutations as to what did or did not happen.



FACT the child is missing after being left alone whilst parents went off to wine and dine.



FACT Once the police in Portugal set about questioning the parents, they upped and left.



I fear that she may never be found and no prosecution will be made, of the parents or anyone. Incompetency on the part of the parents and the police in their respective roles will lead to nothing and the innocent victim will have suffered, Madeleine.

I think you mean it's better that she died by accident without suffering than to be suffering terrible abuse and fear at the hands of a paedophile. Not suffering would be the better of these 2 options of course.

I hope she is found alive and well - but this seems so unlikely now.

I don't believe the Macanns killed and disposed of Madeleine . But then I don't know any more than anybody else and I believe that people are innocent until proven guilty.

No. I'm still hoping that she is in Europe some where. It's a big place and you can get in to Spain from Portugal across the border and there is no border control.



I can't sit on the fence as I feel that an injustice is being done without any real evidence. It's not all fact but people are believing it and some of the questions on here are being unfair and uncalled for.



Time is a great thing and it will all come out at one time or the other.

well allot of people do believe that her parents did kill her and to be honest i a not sure wot to believe but the suspicions r high on them with the sleeping pills and maddies dna in the bot of there car normally is sex offenders have nicked a child they would of been found dead by now so i am stuck in the middle all i can say is how horrible it is how a child has gone missing and somene knows where she is and will not say anything sarah x

i always thought Kate had something to do with it but im still 100% sure, jerry always looked so much more sad and i wonder why did they get so much money and trips to portugal all the time... i thought maybe they had hid her somewere and was just scamming the nation for money. but i dont know how some1 could do something like that. it all seems like something that would happen in the soaps.

i will however still be shocked if they did kill that cutie girl.

and same again i think we should all just give them a break and just wait for justice to be done. it must be hard for their friends and relitves to see all this sorta thing like.

Common sense and statistics point to the facts that they probably did kill her. In the majority of cases of children murdered sadly its a parent or another close relative that does it. Same for sexual abuse of kids. Most of the time its a parent or other trusted family member or friend. Stranger abductions of children are actually rare.

Just two days ago in my state a woman killed her two kids. I know its hard to imagine a parent being so heartless, but it happens all the time.

I kind of feel the same too. I cannot imagine what it is like to lose a child but also to then be blamed for killing her. If they are innocent i don't know how they are coping with all this.
