A hypothetical (but possible) scenario, how would you have felt if The McCanns 3 children had gone missing?

I have read numerous questions over the period regarding the McCanns and Maddy,like we all have, and got involved in numerous debates and discussions, would people still say they were 'silly to have a meal and a drink a few yards away' had all three children gone missing, would they still be saying 'it could have happened to anybody', just for an observational point of view how would you perceive them had all three children gone missing, would it be the same or different?

It is the general opinion that practically most of us would feel deep sympathy for the McCanns quite frankly I couldn't really give a damn. Since I am so tired of the media talking about Maddie McCann so if the two other Children went missing I really wouldn't give a damn.



I wouldn't give a damn because the media would talk even more about them and nothing else are government will do everything in their power to stop this external problem while they don't focus on Great Britain itself.



Really you know this could of happened to anyone in the past many have been kidnapped sure we cared about them but the media may of not taken any notice of it just because a child who is of British Nationality goes missing in a foreign country doesn't mean the media should plunge it all over every single news paper.



Also how stupid do you have to be to leave a child at home on their own at that age? Im fifteen years old and I guarantee I can do a better job at raising a child then the stupid McCanns and they went to have a meal at a place that probably served Alcohol.





If anyone gets offended by this answer tough because this is my opinion and if you don't like it that's fine but I will respect everyone Else's opinion.

I feel they were stupid to leave the children in the first place, and I believe it was their fault Maddy went missing. If all three of the children had gone missing, I think less blame would have been put on the parents as it would have been assumed someone had taken them. I think people would be a little more upset. Still it does not matter how many children went missing, it was still horrible.

I would still be as angry as i am now at the thought of the three little ones being neglected and left alone in an unlocked apartment in a strange country by their supposedly intelligent parents.

when are the McCann supporters going to stop defending them and admit that Maddy would still be here if they had done their duties as parents and looked after their kids.

It is high time they were seen as negligent parents and not a pair of super being they are being portrayed as!.

Same because they are still guilty of neglect by leaving their children, 1 or 3 alone every night. Because they are both respected middle-class doctors they get away with it. I have always felt they were 'silly' to have left the kids in that way. However, most people take risks that are equally silly if we only but examine everything we have risked with our kids.



For me it makes no difference at all that only Maddy was taken. Except that perhaps there is perhaps more chance that three kids would have presented a more easily spotted target for the police to trace, so murder would have been more likely. We can hope and pray that Maddy will get to grow up without molestation. No matter how unlikely that scenario seems.

It wouldn't change my view. Madeleine McCann was abducted (allegedly) because her parents left her alone in an unlocked flat, all three of the children could just of easily have gone missing in those circumstances.

As it is, it's a mystery how this man got into the apartment, got a three-yr-old out of bed, threaded his way to the window past the twins' two cots, opened the window, climbed out with Madeleine (a 3-year-old apparently keeping perfectly still for his convenience) dropped down and made off with no-one (except Jane Tanner) seeing him.



NONE of the story makes sense.

Don't forget their first tale was "shutters jemmied! window open!" yet that was soon proved to be a complete lie.

It would depend on whether you think they had something to do with it. If you do, then you might be more sympathetic because if all 3 children had gone missing it would be less likely that it was them. However, it could work both ways.

I have said in many posts that they were very lucky that all three children were not taken. I still maintain that. I am angry that an innocent child has disppeared off the face of the earth due to her parent's neglect. What angers me so much is the fact that they don't have enough humility to ever admit they did the wrong thing.

One would have assumed that they had all been kidnapped. I think that Maddy was kidnapped anyway but unfortunately the first few hours of investigating are vital and borders should have been shut IMMEDIATELY and because the parents (specifically the mother) did not seem to behave how others wanted or expected her to behave it lent weight to malicious stories and comments by unprofessional (?) police and of course the wonderful media.
