Imagine a World where the Political Elite have been replaced by AI's and it's ran by a Single Will/Ideology, and has control over our Military, Economy, Etc?
It's "Science Fiction" for now but who knows what is possible in a few hundred years
Stephen Hawking thinks it's a real danger..

Dear Lewislfer:

What if these AI machines become intelligent enough to realize that human beings are not simply useless, but actually an annoyance? What if they determine that genocide is the most practical solution to this problem?

Something to think about.

Intelligence all too often does not mean compassion empathy or feeling. Humans are controlled by their hearts and their heads. A mixture of intelligence and compassion would be good, but sadly too many people lack both.

Since when has intelligence artificial or not been an equal to wisdom, for the most part wisdom comes from experience not intelligence.

And in this world would there be a subroutine to argue about what the prime AI is programmed with?

Man is not meant to be ruled by a rigid inflexible system of rules. This is something the Christians, Jews, and Muslims never understood, but is innate in the law system of the jury trial which we inherited from our Anglo-Saxon ancestors.

make a machine to want to make you happy by making you a cup of tea and it could just as easily shoot you down to make someone else happy.

if they are talking about awareness not just the ability to ape convincingly, then it's not even scifi yet it's totally beyond our current understanding to even begin how to take the first step on that path. one thing wont achieve it is faster computers of the kind we've already got. as we are multi processing electro-chemical power efficient beings with all that gubbings stuck in our head forming the most complex single organism known in the whole universe.

i think anyway, i wouldn't take any of that for gospel.

Machines, computers,AIs,do only what they're told to do.

So who decides on the parameters of your Master ?

Who's Ideology will Rule ?

Who controls the " off" switch ?
