Though it says we aren't making much political progress, we are making some progress.

theirs never any progress in war,people are killed in one side or another,specially civilians,bush wont pull out because he has spent to much money on this war,so he is going for it all.

Why is calling someone anti-war an insult? I'm assuming you didnt mean it as a compliment. All of the experts say we will never leave Iraq. We will have an embassy and a few soldiers, but we will never leave. Not as long as there is one drop of oil left.

No matter what "progress" we make on the ground (which is damned little BTW), it won't avail us *anything* if there is no consensus inside the Iraqi government.
Or a unity amongst all three factions.
And right now? None of them want to "play" nice. It's every Iraqi for himself.
How's that for reality?

The "critics" are not critics. They are big-time supporters of Bush and this bloodbath. One of them wrote a book called "The Case for Going Into Iraq."

I have heard that General Petraeus its winning on all battle fronts ... I hope this is good news for our troops soon.. Forget the politicians Lets rally behind our military till they complete the mission..
