Veiws on the madeleine mccann case?

I'm just curious to see what people think happened to Maddy?

I personally think the parents/family/friends know something about it. From what I've seen and read, they don't seem to 'upset' about their child being missing for this long. I don't have children, but I think if I had a child who has been missing for as long as Maddy has I would be a big mess, which they don't seem to be. Also, I've read they've refused to answer questions and different stories are being told about the night she went missing. That screams guilty to me.

So what's your views? Any other facts would be interesting to know also.

I think she is most likely dead. I think some sort of accident happened while the parents were gone to dinner with the friends and when they checked on the kids they found her and got rid of her body so they weren't arrested for neglect or endangerment.

Maddies parents went out on the booze leaving her all alone. From the very start I have had no sympathy for Maddies parents what-so-ever they are foolish and stupid people who do not deserve any support from anyone . How many more millions of tax payers monies are going to be spent looking for a murdered child?



Here in UK a child goes missing every three seconds - yet no one gives a damn.



It's a class issue because Maddies mum and dad are middle class - yet if Maddie were a working class kid - they would do nothing. As they always do.

Kate and Gerry McCann are disliked or hated by many people simply because they are professional people,she a GP,him a heart Surgeon. They are also rather dour Scots people,not good talkers and not very photogenic. To the many leftys on these pages that condemns them out of hand.



I am utterly neutral regarding them. All I say is it makes sense to not libel them with no evidence,just a few rumours and gossip.



Maddie may be found dead or alive one day,but more likely is we will hear no more about it.

My personal belief is that Maddie is dead but her parents have nothing to do with it. I believe she was killed by someone whom we may never know who did it. Her parents have nothing to do with it everybody copes with loss whatever the kind of loss it might be differently there's no right or wrong. The Mccanns have had massive media attention from across the globe more than any other case of this kind. More media coverage than Sara Payne, Jessica and Holly (Huntely's victims) more than James Bulger and more than Shannon Matthews. If them getting involved with the case to find Maddie is some attempt to obfuscate some wrong doing they would have collapsed like a house of cards by now. That's what Karen Matthews and Ian Huntley did they tried to cover their tracks by getting involved in the criminal case against them on the side of those investigating them making constant appearances on TV making out they were helping with the search. When they knew damn well where the victims were and they were swiftly caught. The notion therefore that the Mccanns had something to do with it is eliminated to maintain such a ruse constantly with so much media attention for the past 7 years without a mistake is impossible. The Mccanns would have been caught by now they were stupid to leave the children alone but they are 100% innocent of murder

EDIT: With regards to Mrs Mccann refusing to answer questions I know where you got that from The Daily Mail. Any story that only breaks in one paper especially the Daily Mail I treat with a grain of salt. I am right wing but the Daily Mail is a piece of garbage it twists the truth until it snaps

I think she dead and died accidentally in the apartment and due to how she died the parents covered it up. I have 3 children if 1 went missing I would be out searching every day - not playing tennis/running the day after her "abduction" - theres too many inconsistencies in the story from the parent. theres no physical evidence of anyone else being in that apartment - and why assume he didn't wander off (my 2 year old can open patio doors)

This isn't really a current event, but I personally think she either died of accidental causes, or she was killed. Whether or not the parents know or had something to do with it I really don't know.

Sick to death of reading and seeing this in the papers. I suggest you read the justice for madeleine site and draw your own conclusions. I really cannot be bothered any more. The whole thing has been a charade from day one.

My view is....I don't know....I do know....

1.) Parents have no reason to kill their own infants.

2.) It happened 'on holiday' (vacation) when the parents and child were at a resort.

3.) There is no ...motive...for the parents to murder their own child on a holiday resort trip.

4.) Neither parent had any record for violence or crime.

5.) The family was affluent and not short of money.

I see therefore zero reason to suspect 'they did it'.

99.9 % sure she's Dead.

With all the Global Publicity surrounding the case, I don't think any Kidnapper/Child Sex Trafficker would risk keeping her alive, she's one of the most famous Missing Children in the World.



I highly doubt the parents Murdered her (Why would they?), but they should've known a lot better than to leave their children all alone in an Apartment in an unfamiliar country with the doors unlocked, I think it's possible she wandered out and got picked up by someone.



I don't think it's suspicious that Kate McCann refused to answer any of the Questions put forward to her by the Portuguese Police, that was probably the Advice of her Lawyer.
