TOO MANY THINGS WRONG IN THE CASE OF THE SANDY HOOK TRAGEDY!?

I am like really frustrated because there are too many things wrong in this case. I had been watching the news since it very first happened. All the things they were telling us at the begenning in now completely different or out of the picture, things such as....

*They said the rifle was found locked in the trunk of the car and that the shooter had two handguns in the school with him - however rifle casings found in the school, victims had rifle shells in them and the rifle was found near the shooter

*Police found a man nearby in the woods with camoflauge on.....we havent hear anything about him since

*They were saying the shooter had a girlfriend and friend that could not be found.....weve heard nothing else about them, and considering the type of person he was, he probaly wouldnt have a girlfriend in the first place

There are many other things wrong in this case. This whole thing frustrates me because I feel like somebodys not telling the truth. I dont see how we (americans) can not notice these things and/or dismiss them and not ask questions. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Part of the problem here is that in their rush to be first on a story, the 24/7 media reports on any rumors and unproven statements they hear as if they are fact without making any attempt whatsoever to validate the information. Then viewers ASSUME what they just heard (or read in blog and such) is fact... after all they heard it on the news or read it on the internet so it MUST be true. From there the stories just take on a life of their own.



That's a big reason why the Newtown story keeps changing.

It's because the news reporters aren't checking in on the facts. I had a HUGE tragedy happen in my town (one of my friends was murdered - it got a ton of publicity) and it was astounding how many things were reported inaccurately. Different stations got her name wrong, her age wrong, her killers name wrong (we all knew him too) and countless other details. It is because reporters all want to be the first to report something, and they do little to check and make sure they are correct. Also, authorities are still trying to piece together the case. There was a lot of confusion at first because it was so chaotic and they still hadn't gotten everything figured out. No one would benefit from saying whether or not he had a girlfriend, hiding another shooter, etc. There's just no reason for it. The case is obviously extremely complicated, just give it time and the truth will come out. It's too big of a case to lie about anyway. All big lies are uncovered eventually, and the authorities know that. They're not going to try to do anything like that. Just give it time to sort itself out. The people working on the case are people too, they're not perfect. They make assumptions and jump to conclusions like the rest of us.

The problem was news agencies trying to break the story first, but I do agree with you that the story has changed 100 times in a few days.

To hopefully clear up a few things for you, he didn't have the girlfriend, his brother did in Hoboken NJ.

Ammunition (I'm pretty sure) was what was found in the car truck, he had all the weapons with him.

As for the guy in the camo walking in the woods, I know, all of a sudden that issue was dropped, it does seem like things are being hidden from the public..and I can't understand why either..it really seems pretty clear to me exactly what happened

The original stories did enclose information about the shooter having a girlfriend. One story suggested the girlfriend was a teacher. Another suggested the mother was a teacher and worked at the school, but this was an error, a relative stated she did not work at the school, she home-schooled her son. The media doesn't always post accurate details, they just want to be the first to get a good story out.

Try living here, we heard two additional gunman were driving around in a purple van, one dressed like a nun. They didn't tell us how bad it really was, but instead just went on rumors that made us all go nuts. Before we heard his mom was a teacher there, we heard he was the father of a kid and he was only going after the principal.



They messed up a lot because the news was really eager on getting the story out. They found the killer's brothers ID and found his brother's girlfriend and friends that they assumed those people were involved.



All this stuff isn't worth talking about anymore, the news stations are making everybody crazy when we should just be honoring the children and their heroes. But everything you wrote are just false reports that they gave out in the beginning.

This is exactly what i was thinking but i only got stupid religious dumbass answers. PLUS how could he kill that many so precisely that fast? The other shooters in the woods have disappeared? He was skinny he was weak no way he could kill with 3 guns in less than 3 minutes no way possible. And his mother why would he kill his mother but not his brother ? He was home schooled also he never attended the school All of this is fkn messed up. The police are hiding something!

Now they just said that his mother was a helper for the kindergarten class last year and that his mother had petitioned the court for conservatorship and that he was aware of it and very angry thinking she was going to commit him and said she loved the kindergartners more than him... there you go folks... that is the supposed motive but stay tuned... i'm sure it's subject to change... first she was a teacher then she supposedly had no connection to the school at all and now she supposedly volunteered there last year...

There are always rumors flying when a story of this magnitude breaks. However, I am very concerned about the guy in the woods. I don't think we will ever know the whole truth; this seems to be the story they are sticking with......................

lanza was probably programed to do this in an effort to get assault rifles baned again to lessen resistance when the new world order folks try to take over america .
