Question:
Is this an April Fools Day Joke?

I am hoping that this is an April Fools Joke. I really pray that we don't have a situation in England where police officers are now suing people when they get called out on a call and they fall over a kerb. This is ridiculous. But I have never heard of April Fools Joke being done a day early! so I have to assume that this means, nobody should ever call the police out in case they get sued. Unbelievable. As if the police don't already have problems with public trust. This is certainly the last straw for me as far as the police are concerned. As somebody once said, if I see the police lying in a car upside down and their wheels spinning, I will just walk on by! I certainly won't lift a finger
Does anyone know if this is an april fools day joke? I pray it is!

this has being going on for years, a disabled bloke in Manchester had a ramp he'd made, and a cop managed to fall off it and wanted a fortune, this was about 15 years back I think!! worse still, the person had no insurance

How times change. I tripped over a kerb once, I got a slap round the back of the head and told "pick your bloody feet up".

As for your comment "I will just walk on by! I certainly won't lift a finger". Am I to take it that when the knife wielding thug has you against the wall, you will not object when the Policeman does the same?

Why is it that the object of your disapproval is the first person you will cry for when you need help?

without her notice, provide an attractive breakfast, yet instead smother the sandwiches in salt and use the two chilli powder or pepper, or salt back on the tea/espresso an elementary one is which you would be able to trick one among your loved ones via having the the remainder of the relatives to have self assurance which you have have been given fainted.

Who hasn't heard the many personal injury adverts bombarding our tv screens?

'Have you had a trip or fall anywhere, for a no-win, no-fee consultation, ring this number'.

Many beautiful buildings & open spaces have now been boarded or fenced up to prevent the public gaining access, thanks to superfluous claims on land-owners insurance!

I didn't see it as any jokes. It seems this woman police officer is taking private legal action against the shop involved. The police wasn't aware of it. As long as she doesn't use her job to get any special advantage I don't see anything wrong or unusual.?
