He died 5 yrs ago, and with the help of camera trickery and a lookalike, they have got him stood at his own grave telling men the symptoms and dangers of prostate cancer.

I think its great, ok if it was advertising beer or something it would be but this is an important and worthy cause, that needs something that will make people stand up and take notice. I think bob would love it, it wouldn't bother me if someone did it to me after i went.

This is not the first time this has happened in TV. There was the case a while back of Steve McQueen doing an ad. for Ford. They took his image from a 1960s Mustang and transferred it to the new Ford - excellent.

How about, Frank Sinatra sings duet with Billy Holiday?

Is that possible?

A worthy cause.

As a Wife, Mother and Sister, i would urge all Men to do self checks, if in doubt go and see your GP.

In the past not enough has been done to raise awareness of prostate cancer. Hopefully this will see a change for you guys.

I didn't know he was dead until I saw it!

It does seem to be in bad taste as it's out to shock, but for a good cause.

However, I don't personally don't think it's right to use someone's image after they have died. I believe that it's disrespectful without the producers gaining his consent before he died.

i haven't seen it yet. i know its national mens health week this week so the advert will be a good way of getting across the importance of keeping a check on your health. men are generally complacent when it comes to these issues.

EDIT they must have had permission from the family first, so i personally don't think its in bad taste.

I saw a bit of it on the news on Tuesday and it's really clever the way it's done, I haven't seen it on TV yet as an advert.
