What's going on in Israel right now?

I have to do a project about major current events, and I was given the country of Israel. Please don't yell at me or anything, I don't usually watch the news, and never read the paper or anything. I tried searching the internet, but I don't want to get results that were from years ago or anything. Is anything major or important going on in Israel right now?

They are still making illegal settlements in Palestine..

same story- the Americans ( Obama this time) support the Palestinians out loud, and look the other way when Israel screws them over
