Question:
What do you think of all these anti-Ukip protesters?
anonymous

The people who keep showing up outside Ukip meetings to jeer at people, and who keep spray painting over Ukip posters.

Personally I'm not sure whether to laugh or to pity them. They clearly think of themselves as brave heroes standing against fascism, yet they are incredibly naive and uneducated.

By trying to silence Ukip, they are suppressing free speech, which makes them the real fascists. And the real danger to the British people of all skin colours comes from the anti-democratic EU and the criminal 3 main parties, which, by opposing Ukip, you are supporting.

Come on, UKIP is loving it, if they didn't get opposition they would be irrelevant.

Protest parties shouldn't pretend the controversy isn't a great tool to get attention, and win votes

UKIP IS NOT AN ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT PARTY

Delingpole: Shilling for Ukip - and the establishment.

When I heard James Delingpole was moving to Breitbart to write for their UK operation I was pleased. Sadly I have been let down. Breitbart has joined The Commentator in writing puff pieces for the Cult of Farage.

Delingpole has largely suspended his critical faculties, and instead of the robust journalism and humourous banter I always liked him for, he now writes propaganda for Ukip. How the mighty have fallen. Sadly this is what happens to any intelligent person the moment they join a tribe.

He is feeding the narrative that Ukip are the plucky underdogs challenging the status quo. "Politicians and the mainstream media are part of the same Establishment and have a mutual interest in preserving the status quo." says he. But if you have ever read any policy from Ukip, you will see that it is still largely within the same framework of the establishment - and very much the status quo. Their policies are reactionary diktats the likes you would expect from a Daily Mail reader, that in most cases would be immeasurably worse than the piss-poor illiberal diktats we already get from Westminster.

Were one to examine Ukip as to whether they were serious contender for government, any rational person would run a mile. Especially a party that doesn't even see the need to formulate an EU exit strategy on which to campaign. How do they expect to win a referendum without an exit policy that reassures those with very legitimate doubts?

What we see on close examination of Ukip is not a party that seeks to overthrow the establishment, but to take over and run the establishment according to its own barn-pot whims. It has no "ism" and it has no philosphy. Only a desire to depose those in power. For what reason, other than a vague and unplanned exit from the EU, we do not know (and even that looks dispensable to Ukip).

There is no uniting ethos nor a desire to return power to the people - or dismantle the establishment as we know it. They can point to a few tinkerings around the edges that sound like good ideas, stumbled upon by happenchance, but would be just as easily be dropped as the 2010 manifesto since these ideas do not lie at the bedrock of their thinking (whatever that is). Thus we are looking at a populist personality cult - not a movement.

Many ask how the Nazis could have taken power with such little resistance and even popular consent. Well take a look folks, because it's happening right before your eyes. And if it can fool James Delingpole, then it can fool all but the best of us.''

But the latest political party TO PAY HOMAGE TO THE CITY OF LONDON might come as something of a surprise. UKIP, WHO TOUT THEIR ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT CREDENTIALS WHEREVER THEY GO, have made it clear that their hatred of the status quo only extends to poor migrants and Brussels-based politicians. Their leader, Nigel Farage - who USED TO BE A CITY TRADER HIMSELF- has today LAUNCHED AN INCREDIBLE ATTACK on the European Court after it threw out a case by our Government aiming to derail plans for a Robin Hood Tax on city transactions. The tax, which could raise billions of pounds to be spent on alleviating poverty or fighting climate change, is set to be implemented in eleven countries, but not the UK. TAKING THE TORY'S SIDE ON THE ISSUE, FAFAGE DESCRIBED THE RULING AS AN 'ATTACK' ON 'THE UK'S BIGGEST INTEREST'.

FOR A PARTY THAT SAYS IT'S ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT IT'S QUITE EXTRAORDINARY TO DESCRIBE the City of London financial zone as 'BRITAIN'S BIGGEST INTEREST'. It's worth remembering that IT IS BANKERS, not migrants or even bureaucrats, WHO LED US INTO A FINANCIAL CRISIS FOR WHICH WE ARE ALL STILL PAYING THE PRICE. Indeed, surely no other aspect of British society is more 'establishment' than the small group of multinational banks in the centre of our capital city who have avoided tax, manipulated markets and paid out multimillion pound bonuses while the rest of the country faced wave after wave of austerity.

Farage is a lot of things. He's charismatic, he's funny on occasion and, undoubtedly, he's popular. BUT HE CERTAINLY ISN'T ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT. It's clear that neither UKIP, nor any of the other establishment parties, have any real plan to tackle the vested interests that blight Britain's political landscape. For real change in this country, we need to get tough on the spivs and speculators, and build an economy that works for everyone, not just the 1%.''

Many of them appear to be suspect UAF supporters. Unemployed, hippy, far left bong smokers who are mentally ill, that act the age of their shoe sizes. The UAF is funded and chaired by the Labour Party, who seems to have adopted the political tactics of the gutter. So frightened of UKIP are they because they are losing voters to UKIP and of their own old party dinosaur policies that do not work, that they have resorted to daily smears and or lies about UKIP, as well as physical violence, taunting and meeting interruptions..... reminiscent 'almost' of intimidations and undemocratic tactics seen and done in Zimbabwe or Afganistan by warlords and dictators.

When a party is growing as fast as UKIP, it is bound to take on the odd loose cannon that embarrasses the party, but UKIP do not have a monopoly on stupidity, as Farage has made clear, and also been given a dossier 200 pages thick of good examples of stupidity by the conlablib triage parties of complete fail.

UKIP does not need to use gutter politics like dinosaur parties do, as UKIPs following increases, gets stronger every day, whilst dinosaur parties only get weaker. We live in interesting times.

UKIP are the voice of the voiceless UKIP thrive off this their Anti Establishment credentials work well here the more people insult UKIP the better they do. I once emailed UAF to ask them why they protest a non Fascist organisation like UKIP they didn't even respond or argue their case. And why does UAF have somebody with links to Al-Qaeda in their ranks? But UKIP cannot be stopped they grow in strength every waking moment. People have truly had enough of the main three and see UKIP as the alternative people want change. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqsibRGtZ1A

What are the main three and their supporters scared of?

People protest against the BNP too. UKIP is the fluffy political wing of the BNP.

People won’t vote for them because of their policies so it must be something else. What proportion of UKIP voters have ever read their manifestos? I have. They’re funny.

It's yet another shining example of the left practising what they preach about 'tolerance'.

They'd soon be yelling for protection if their dos were the ones being gatecrashed like this. It shows what intolerant totalitarian yobs they are, and as for that despiciable lot the UAF being involved... I should not really be surprised I suppose.

Trying to deny us the democratic right to speak and be heard is utterly inexcusable and for groups like UAF to complain about their favourite protected groups being subjected to any sort of prejudice is hypocrisy in the extreme.

Lol like other posters on here, I don't think UKIP mind at all, it keeps them on the news and there's nothing we Brits like more than a perceived underdog!

Well they're probably being paid to do it

And UKIP is getting more publicity because of it

So it's a win/win situation

The UAF is a complete joke and they have been bought and paid for by the Labour Party. There full of liberal hippies who love hugging trees.

Join the peoples army and let's make an earth quake in British politics and please vote UKIP.
