BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Born in the ashes of the smoldering South after the Civil War, the Ku Klux Klan died and was reborn before losing the fight against civil rights in the 1960s. Membership dwindled, a unified group fractured, and one-time members went to prison for a string of murderous attacks against blacks. Many assumed the group was dead, a white-robed ghost of hate and violence. http://www.ajc.com/ap/ap/north-carolina/ku-klux-klan-dreams-of-rising-again-150-years-afte/nrqGy/

illuminati Freemasons created KKK to stir up trouble between blacks and whites who were getting on OK till them

they were posturing as white Christians so white Christians would get the blame and blacks would hate whites

you can see efforts being made to stir up a race war in UK

That group has remained inexistence without obvious support from any serious political group, so what happened 150 years ago can be largely discounted. Much more important is the sort of groups these days which allow the KKK to still exist, and those groups are surely far-right-wingers - the sort of people to whom Trump appeals.

The democratic party did not make the group, some democrats did. "Some people" does not equal "the party". Learn the difference. That being said, its sad that there is so much deflection and blame directed at those you don't like simply because of political differences. You are a part of the problem, not the solution.

This may shock you, but the political parties aren't the same as they were 150 years ago.
