i don't care about that stupid wedding & 99 percent of the world don't care either. What i want to see from news like CNN or Fox is what is the update on Japan's nuclear crisis, etc. not some stupid wedding shown over & over. Our lives won't be affected on the royal wedding so why give it importance over more trivial & important issues. Why?????

it is supposed to be "Positive "GOOD news, and the media is milking it for all its worth.

Ignore it if you can.

Try not to be nasty about being annoyed.

Suffer in silence.

It is test of character.

- what is the update on Japan's nuclear crisis

Watching TV for news is basically useless. TV news is for entertainment purposes only, not factual presentation (especially the F channel which is biased entertainment).

Here is an informative article describing the Fukushima Daiichi power plant situation:

And here is where you find current, factual status information:

Historical status:

And a slide presentation that describes the effects:

And here is a chart that helps make sense of the numbers:

While I agree with you that its kind of stupid and I also don't care, I saw numbers saying that as many as 2 BILLION people will tune in to watch. So clearly, your 99% doesn't care is a little off. Even if its half that many watching, that's a HUGE number. It makes sense that the news reports on a story that many people DO in fact care about.

Now, why those people care is beyond me. British royalty has little impact on my life. Their actual marriage ceremony, even less so.

Because of the movie The King's Speech.

It has made people interested in the affairs of royalty.
