David Cameron is a PR man and knows how the media works. He never acts in the best interests of the country, and will only ever act in a way that will get him re-elected. He will never take the tough choice and do something that hurts his image.

Cameron needs a warm hug around the throat, he doesn't have a clue. Sentences should be increased and prison life should be make harder. How is a free education, being fed, kept warm, free tv, video games and internet a punishment.Make the punishment fit the crime for a change! Dear Lord above, these prisoners have a better quality of life than some working class families and pensioners. THAT is where the money should go if there is any going spare.

Tough on criminals & make prisons work?

I've just read prisoners are going to be allowed to vote & there's not much PM can do about it!

Anyone who's been a victim of crime fails to see why prisoners should be allowed to vote.

That should be another one of those things they lose, when they commit crime & are sent to prison as they didn't respect their victims human rights.

Why should society respect theirs?

"Call me Dave" seems to pull things from the sky these days before he has thought them through or consulted his cabinet colleagues, it smacks at desperation.
