What Browser do you use and why?

Question

Between Firefox, Netscape, Lycos, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome.... what's the difference? Do you prefer one to another? Use more than one? 10pts.

I use Chrome on this computer because it came as the default. I like the auto-fill-in on the address bar with one letter, saving me a click over IE.



I use Safari on my Mac. It's the default, it's elegant, and I love the numerical shortcuts to bookmarks.



I use Firefox on my old work PC because I wanted to get a particular ad-blocker a year or two ago that was only compatible with Firefox, and I've stuck with it.



And I use MSIE on my new PC because it's the default, it's a fast new computer, so I don't care if it isn't the fastest browser



My favorite may be Safari, Mac version, but obviously since I'm using 4 browsers, I don't have a strong preference.

The best browser I ever used was Netscape Navigator but Microsoft killed them off. I tried Firefox but I could never get into my Yahoo Mail with it but otherwise it was fast and has more options than Chrome seems to have. I currently use Chrome. I'm not happy that I can't organize my bookmarks, putting those I use most often at the top of the list - at least I can't find anything to tell me how to do it - but it's fast, clean and I no longer get a gazillion "IE can't open this page" messages and it doesn't freeze on me like IE does.

I like chrome. Its fast and easy. Also, I like searching Google from the address bar.

I use FF because it takes a couple of addons that I use. They are NoScript and SQLite Manager.

I use Safari and Firefox.

I like them and they work.
