Bush is not responsible for the sale of P&O to Dubai Ports World. It is not legal for the President to unduly influence the decisions of government commissions that oversee sales like this one. Foreigners will not be in "control" of operations at the 6 ports in the US at which P&O has a contract any more than they did when P&O was British-owned. The US Coast Guard will still oversee security at all US ports. US citizens will still be running the ports, and working in them. All that has changed is the ownership of the contract company.

To fight terrorism, it must be attacked at the source. Dubai and the UAE have proven themselves to be reliable allies in the war on terrorism. Shutting Muslims out of the US business world for no good reason will only serve to alienate them and hinder our efforts to fight terrorists.
