I'll just point out that it's just not smart to.



Israel is a regional powerhouse that is right there, with an army trained in warfare with groups such as them in the landscape they operate in. They also can deploy much of their forces into Syria with ease, being that they're very proximal to the conflict. ISIS just knows that they'll cripple themselves if they take too many people on: They already have many nations contributing troops, and Israel could tip the scales once and for all. They hold off Israel because they know they need to get larger to prevent themselves from potentially collapsing or suffering a blow they can't recover one.



Now, Israel stays out of it because they rather not deal with wars they're not involved in. Times of peace are rather elusive to them so they take what they can get, and ISIS recognizes that if they don't attack Israel, they'll not attack ISIS. So they also recognize that they can get away with putting off their hostilities towards Israel.

ISIS - as a political and military force - cannot begin to challenge Israel's Army (IDF). They lack people, training, weaponry and most of all, do have logistics, money or intelligence (I mean no "military intelligence", but the normal one).



Second, what they look for, is a Caliphate (just like Israel attained its nation "in one day"), copying or emulating Israel. They want a 'nation', just like Israel became a "nation" and has a "banner" (although you do not admit it, this was forecasted way back 750 BC by a guy named Isaiah).



Third, since they are Sunnis, they must first eliminate Iran (the Shiite) in the quest, fight against the Russian support, and the Saudi Arabian efforts to eliminate them. No can do. No just yet.



There are several other reasons, but I will limit those ones to these.
