all those who have lost money should write to their local mp's
and also downing street with all your tales of woe
if everyone does it they will get their asses of their leather chairs
and do more than fart for a change
ITS UP TO YOU TO STAND UP AND BE COUNTED FOR ONCE

People lose money every day because limited companies take their money then go bust before they supply the goods. MPs aren't going to take any more notice of this one than they do of any other.

What we need is an arrangement where customer money is held in trust until the goods have been delivered. It would mean more companies going bust because they couldn't include unfulfilled orders in their balance sheets, but at least people would get their money back.

I believe Old-Know-All is correct in what he says. However, I understood that where money was taken in advance for orders it should be kept in a 'client's account' like solicitors are required to do for money taken on behalf of clients from winning court cases, or money being paid over for a property either by the seller or the buyer. Any company that lives from hand to mouth and uses customers' up-front payments to buy the goods they order is on thin ice. It's much cheaper to save up for a hamper, then buy something to put in it each week and you know your money is safe. Plenty of examples of what to put in in the Farepak Hamper catalogues.

Customers who lost money in this business are daft? Why save money on buying a hamper when all supermarkets offer saving schemes? You'll get more for your money and are able to choose what you want. Maybe a lesson learnt?

I agree with you 100%, unfortunately there is not an MP who will give a toss about the plight of all who have lost out on this, as there is no personal nor political gain to be had for them.

yes by all means write to mp,if itll do any good if they have conciences unlike the crooks in charge of farepak who took peoples mony on the day they went bust if that is not fraud legally ,then it is highly immoral and would think these people are now in fear of their lives, their scam might have backfired

I am so very sorry to hear of what's happened to everyone who's put money into this venture.

It's a crime, plain and simple. I hope all you customers affected by this get your money back.
