Charity The Trussell Trust has revealed that almost half of the people who rely on it cannot pay for food themselves because of changes to benefits, delays in payments, or being refused a crisis loan.
The food bank charity said 44 per cent of its 6,000 users in Gloucestershire rely on its supplies because the benefits system is not helping them

Correct me if I am wrong in my question but has anyone in Parliament ever acknowledged the escalation of the food banks ?how logical is it that, these are increasing as the above question states and our benevolent government send Millions pounds sterling overseas to other countries folks, that is immoral our leaders need to look inwards Not outwards.

Food banks are important, without them I wouldn't even like to imagine how people would cope. But why can't MP's get the care that the rest of the general public receive? it's quite unfair

Well so long as they are ok it doesn't matter about the rest of us,last thing I want is a depressed politician making decisions on the running of the country and I wonder, are the tax payers funding this little project by any chance

It must be very stressful to spend your entire working life bickering like a demented 12 year-old. What sense of pride, achievement and self respect can be derived from that?

Try doing a MP's job and see what you think. Many working people find the modern world stressful, not just those on benefits. The latter would get counselling on the NHS if they need it.

All this gratuitous government bashing is becoming tedious.

It must be the stress of all the expenses claims

And what about us common people? Is our mental health not that important? And how many people have killed themselves due to all the cuts? Maybe the con-demn coalition really need this service though, you know............to deal with all the guilt 'n' all.......

MPs get generous expenses and they would get depression if it were stopped
