Question:
Now that Geert Wilders has been acquitted of "hate speech," what will his would-be censors do next?

In a piece today at Human Events, Robert Spencer argues that the acquittal of Geert Wilders was merely a temporary victory, and that challenges to free speech, and more particularly speech that touches on Islam as a topic, are only going to get tougher in the future:

If Islam has nothing to hide or fear from open discussion why should it need liberals and apologists to protect it from scrutiny?

Christianity is mocked and ridiculed.

Jews are mocked and ridiculed.

Why is Islam a special case?

He said Islam is a violent ideology and there is more than enough evidence to support that.

Islam should be exposed in every way for what it is. A cult born from the pagan moon god al Lah, with the dead of night flag, the crescent moon and star. When the truth can not be seen. As well as it 'holy book' of intolerance, hatred, murderous goals, oppression of women, molesting of children as practiced by the big leader(muhamad). Praying like zombots( zombie robots) five times a day. Of which no prayers of peace will EVER relieve their leader from the eternal tortures of that fiery hot place he has been placed in all these centuries. His reward for selling his soul to the devvil.

Three cheers for Geert. Keep up the good work.

Support the Ten Commandments. (Denied by Islam).

If not for all that oil money, they would still be stealing goats from each other out in the deserts.

Without the oil money that is their destiny still.

Are you kidding?! Islam is freely pilloried in the mainstream news media and its adherents slandered left, right and centre. Its holy book has been and burned and its holiest figure insulted and mocked. So what more do this Robert Spencer and you want to do that hasn't already been said or done?

Wow,. And I had always considered Netherlands almost anarchic in its libertarianism; and now they are ready to ban speech?
