I'm a heavy yahoo mail user and have accounts for work and personal and have checked both throughout today. Just checked my personal email that's open in another Firefox tab and No, nothing from Yahoo. I'd be cautious about opening it. Maybe just delete it.

I've never had a mail from Yahoo or via them that wasn't in response to something I'd done such as ask a question here.

Yahoo's a global service, can't see them getting into organising local events. And don't open attachments your suspicious of. If in doubt chuck it out.

no... are you sure it's from YahoO?? May be a scam... scan over the website, but don't click on it. It will tell you who sent it and if it's from Yahoo, then it's OK to open it..
