Of course he didn't. It was an accident. Period. How did I know? Simple. If you were THE Dick Cheney, you wouldn't do that, right? At least, not in front of a lot of witnesses. He's not stupid to sacrifice his name for that act.

Yes, he did shoot him. I don't think it was on purpose, honestly. I do, however, think, even if it wasn't an accident, and the guy would have died, he would have gotten away with it, which is NOT right!!!

Yes. He's a hunter, so he would've known that a shotgun with birdshot at that distance would not cause serious harm.
