Oprah Winfrey just died!

I just heard this on the news..

Oprah Winfrey, age 54, was found dead in her home residing in Chicago, Illinois at 8:21 AM on September 20, 2008. They still don't know the actual cause of this tragedy and the FBI are currently working on it.

Does anyone know what happend?!

CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) -- Daytime talk-shop host Oprah Winfrey has been found dead in her Chicago home early Saturday morning. Winfrey, 54, was found by a family member, sprawled out across her bed. The family member had called Winfrey's phone multiple times, and after being concerned for her safety, the member went to her house. The cause of death is currently unknown, but the FBI has teamed up with the Chicago Coroner's office to investigate the cause

I went to your link and, initially, there was an entry toward the end of the page with this information. It has now been removed. Wikipedia can be a good source of information, however, you have to also remember that the content can be edited by registered users. I can't believe that this is anything more than a sick attempt at a hoax, otherwise, the the media would have been all over it.



I'm not an Oprah fan but certainly would never wish any harm to come to her.

The Chicago Sun hasn't reported this yet but yesterday the famed talk show host Oprah Winfrey died of unknown causes. My brother who lives in Chicago said that everyone is shutting down business tomorrow to mourn her sudden death.
